Wisely

Privacy

This site measures its audience to find out whether its presentation of Wisely is understood. It does so without cookies, without session recording and without profiling. This page states exactly what is collected: a tool that asks to look at the state of your machine should start by saying what it does with your data.

Audience measurement

The following events are recorded, each carrying the page's language:

  • A page view and its address. If you arrived through a campaign link, the channel name it carries (the “src” parameter) is recorded separately, so we can tell which channel brings people in — it names a channel, never you
  • A click on a call to action, identified by a stable name rather than its label
  • A section coming into view
  • Scroll milestones reached: 25, 50, 75 and 100%
  • Use of the terminal demo controls: play, pause, step, replay
  • An install command being copied
  • Leaving for an external link, with its destination
  • A successful form submission and its kind — message or sign-up — never its content

None of these events carries text you typed, an email address, or any identifier that would let us recognise you from one visit to the next.

What is not collected

  • No cookies, no local storage. Measurement data lives for the lifetime of the tab, then goes.
  • No session recording: no video, no reconstruction of your movements or keystrokes.
  • No advertising profile, no cross-site tracking, no matching against other services.
  • No data is sold, traded or passed to a third party for commercial purposes.

Hosting and retention

Audience measurement runs on PostHog, in its European region. Requests go through this site rather than a third-party domain. Aggregated data is kept for as long as the test campaigns it serves are being analysed, and for twelve months at most.

Contact form and newsletter

What you enter in the form is delivered through Resend to the project address alone, so we can reply or add you to the newsletter. It is never resold or used for anything else, and a sign-up can be cancelled at any time.

Your rights

Because the measurement described here is anonymous and carries no persistent identifier, there is no audience data attached to you: nothing to access, nothing to delete. For contact form data, requests for access, correction or deletion go through the Contact page.
